I have always had a passion for trees, stones and water.
In my younger years I lived on a dead end street that bordered on acres of woods and swamp that lead to the Great South Bay. I spent many days roaming in the woods and swamp and scuba diving, swimming and canoeing in the bay and Long Island Sound.
I spent 36 years as a family wealth manager with U S Trust and 17 years with Mercy Haven Inc.,as a board member, Treasurer , Board Chair and 3 years as Director of Management Systems.
I retired in 2003 and purchased a second home in upstate New York on a lake and near miles of woodlands. I was again attracted to Mother Nature. I started photographing nature and collecting unusual stones. After taking an art class with a friend, she encouraged me to pursue my interest in stone art. I create for my own pleasure and discovered that others found my creations intriguing. I have had my stone art and photographs on display at two local shops and East End Arts. I continue to explore, collect and create.
